MANU AIRCRAFT PROGRAM  5DAYS/4 NIGHTS
CUZCO / BOCA MANU / TAMBO BLANQUILLO

DAY 1
                               Transfer Hotel / Airport
                               Departure from Cuzco to Boca Manu with a flight of 45 Minutes in small aircraft  during the flight the change of landscapes  changes  from high desertic mountains to cloud forest and finally Tropical Rain Forest
                                Arrival to Boca Manu airstrip  and transfer to the Rio Madre de Dios port  where we take a boat to start to navigate on the Madre de Dios River  until  Tambo Blanquillo Lodge which is located at just 10 minutes far by boat from A famous Macaw Lick.
 Once in the Lodge there will be a Guide who will lead Us in a walk to the Jungle to look for different species of flora and fauna an then return to the Lodge
After Dinner there will be available an Optional night walk by the jungle
Lodging night, Toilets an showers of fresh water available

DAY  2
TAMBO BLANQUILLO / MACAW LICK COLLPA / TAMBO BLANQUILLO

                               Wake up call
                               Early departure by boat to to the Collpa
                                While Breakfast is served on a floating blind in front of the lick, the guide explains why parrots and macaws visit this place. Little by little dozens of parrots screaming start to descend to the Lick, sometimes there are hundreds of them. After that the colourful macaws do the same. When this spectacular show is over, the group continues the boat trip along the Madre de Dios River with more activities at the end the group returns to Boca Manu Lodge for Dinner
At night optional night walk to explore one of the trails in the area

DAY 3
                               Wake up call
                               Breakfast
                               Departure by Boat all along the Manu river inside the Reserved Zone where it is common to see many Caimans, Capybaras, Turtles and magnificent  birdlife resting on the beaches of this pristine rainforest. With some good luck it will be possible to observe the Jaguar. Early in the afternoon the group arrives at the Salvador Oxbow Lake and after some activities the trip continues until to arrive to a typical Matsiguenka Lodge
 After Dinner an optional night walk with the guide to explore the miracles and sounds of the nocturnal rainforest.

DAY 3
                               Early wake up call
                               Breakfast
                                After breakfast the group will use a catamaran for about two hours, to paddle silently on the Salvador Oxbow Lake. There it will be possible to see a group of Giant Otters fishing, dozens of different bird species and the always present Black Caiman which can reach 6 meters length. The rest of the day will be spent walking by some of the many trails near the lake. The group will be taken to an small clear place where the Guide will explain the secrets of the rainforest, and maybe we will have the opportunity to see  a group of Black Spider Monkeys that Leave in this area observing  the group from the top of the trees
Return to the Matsiguenka Lodge for dinner

DAY 4
                               Wake up call
                               Breakfast
                               Very Early in the morning optional walk for those Guest who wish can have a very early morning walk with the guide. After breakfast half an hour boat trip to visit Otorongo Oxbow Lake where we have the opportunity to see again a group of Giant Otters from the 15 meters high observation tower. On the trails of Otorongo it is possible to meet big groups of white-lipped peccaries and many groups of monkeys, like woolly monkeys. Then return back to Salvador dinner and lodging at the Matsiguenka Lodge.

DAY  5
                               Wake up call by red howler monkeys
                               Breakfast
                               Boat trip downstream along the Manu River. Hopefully we will meet some new species of fauna on the way. Arrival to the Boca Manu airstrip to take the flight back to Cusco                                 Arrival to the Airport in Cuzco and Transfer to the hotel.
